Wiring Services

Custom harnesses built to race-spec standards, without compromise.

Wiring Philosophy

+ Build Quality

At JMRacing, we don’t just wire for power — we wire for reliability, serviceability, and future upgrades. A proper harness is the foundation of any serious build. Every connection, crimp, and termination plays a role in how the system performs, so we treat wiring like an engineered system, not an afterthought.

Your car’s electrical system should work together. We design every harness to ensure smooth communication between components, clean sensor data, and consistent performance under every condition, from track heat to daily driving.

That philosophy carries through every detail of how we build. Each Race-spec harness is constructed using aerospace grade Tefzel wire for maximum heat resistance and flexibility, protected with Raychem DR-25 heat shrink and sealed with Raychem boots and adhesives for long-term durability from all elements. We use motorsport grade connectors like Deutsch, Autosport, and Mil-spec chosen for their precision fit and reliability in high-vibration motorsport environments. Every connection includes proper crimping, strain relief, and labeling to make installation and service as clean as possible.

When you compare one of our looms to a cheap, off-the-shelf harness, the difference is obvious — tighter fit, cleaner routing, superior materials, and peace of mind that your electronics won’t fail when it matters most. It’s the kind of reliability that only comes from experience, attention to detail, and a true understanding of motorsport demands.

1. Consultation + Planning

We start by reviewing your setup and goals. We then pair you with a suitable electronics package that includes the necessary sensors and accessories to meet your goals. Whether it’s a drift car, time attack build, or street setup, we make sure everything is accounted for.

2. Pin Mapping + Diagram Creation

Before the first wire is cut, we create a detailed pin map and reference diagram that outlines every circuit, connector, and function. This ensures accuracy and makes future troubleshooting or upgrades simple and documented.

3. Harness Fabrication

This is where the craftsmanship comes in. We use Tefzel wire, Raychem DR-25, and Milspec connectors throughout the build. Every branch is measured and terminated with the correct strain relief and heat-molded boots, ensuring both performance and durability under the toughest conditions.

4. Final Quality Check + Documentation

Before any harness leaves the shop, it’s tested for continuity, resistance, and integrity. We verify every pinout, connector, and sensor path. You’ll receive a wiring diagram or label sheet to keep for future reference — because serviceability matters as much as reliability.
