S13 Chassis Harness

With the S13 reaching over 30+ years in age, the often overlooked, yet always in the way engine bay fuse box harness is well past its shelf life. Crusty connectors, corroded wires, this harness is exposed to the elements and unlike an engine harness, this is not a common thing to change out when modifying. A popular mod is to relocate this inside the car behind the dashboard. Some just cram it all in there or the slightly better way of cutting sections out and splicing everything back together. This task of cutting, splicing, extending takes around 40 hours of labor and despite all the hard work it’s still the same 30-year-old wiring and connectors.

This is what led to releasing our “Fusebox Delete” OEM+ style harness, for those that aren’t going “full racecar” and want to retain features like pop up headlights, power windows, stock seat belts, and Heat/AC. These cars don’t come with many creature comforts from the factory so keeping what is there is a must to avoid suffering during daily use.

This harness integrates with the stock body harness that runs under the dash and carpet from the firewall to the trunk. The PDM mounts perfectly in a small cubby behind the radio. From here it disperses to different areas of the vehicle. For the front end and engine bay connections it travels through the firewall, rather than under the fenders, so going gangster low is not going to risk rubbing though wires. For the rear section, it routes cleanly under the carpet and behind the rear quarter trim where it connects to the stock fuel pump connector, or multiple fuel pumps with an aftermarket hanger.

Because this harness is created using aerospace grade tefzel wire and high temp fiberglass looming, it is extremely thin and lightweight. Both of these items resist fluids, corrosion and are rated to much worse operating conditions than a S13 would ever find itself in. This also allows it to route in ways the bulky stock harness can’t. The result is an un-intentional wire tuck appearance where you can’t even see the wiring, yet every component is connected and everything works. Other harnesses on the market choose OEM grade wiring and cheap, expandable braided sleeving that melts if heat even looks at it and often these look worse than the stock harness after only a few years of use. We deliver a product that will last the lifetime of the car and look good doing it.

If you’re tired of the outdated factory wiring holding your S13 back, this is the modern, no-compromise solution.
